HTV Silicone Rubbers

Our offer includes methylvinylsilicone rubber designed for processing into HTV silicone rubbers. This polymer is manufactured in two basic grades containing different quantity of vinyl groups:

  • POLIMER MV 0,07 - 0.07 % (mole/mole)
  • POLIMER MV 1,0 - 1.0 % (mole/mole)
and silicone premix masterbatches having the hardness of 40 °ShA and 60 °ShA:
  • SYMSIL GUM 100/40
  • SYMSIL GUM 100/60

These premix masterbatches are used for manufacturing hoses, sections and cords, seal tape, plates, electrical wire insulation and many others extrused or moulded products.

SYMSIL GUM is a general purpose master batch compound, vulcanizing at high temperature after addition of vulcanizing agent, which shows useful properties:

  • ageing resistance,
  • stability of mechanical properties in the range of temperature between -500C and + 2500C,
  • chemical resistance,
  • good insulating properties.
We actually offer general purpose, transparent, extrusion or compression moulding HTV rubbers Symsil GUM 100:
  • Symsil GUM 100/40 – hardness 40 ShA,
  • Symsil Gum 100/50 – hardness 50 ShA,
  • Symsil GUM 100/60 – hardness 60 ShA,
Mechanical properties
  • Shore A hardness: 40 - 60
  • Tensile strength, MPa: at least 8,0
  • Elongation at break, %: 370 - 620
  • Tear strength, kN/m: at least 17 kN/m
